conceit: 
meddling children explore local paranormal phenomena.

choosing characters: 

meddlers: you are children. you are friends. you are kind of a team. you are curious. you will disagree. you definitely have the #1 Best Plan. prove it to your friends.

spirits: you’re dead. it’s been long enough that now you’re bored <who knows how long--or not--that takes>. you’ve moved to a liminality, a place where the ethereal plane meets the mortal. here humans can perceive your actions + attempt to communicate with you. interfere with the meddlers. be poltergeists. amuse yourselves. make them earn the truth. why are you here? what do you want, and what would it take to appease you or get rid of you?
